John McIntyre, Ph.D.

=John McIntyre has led companies from the R&D stage to successful commercial ventures with product sales in domestic and international markets. He has led mergers & acquisitions of several companies, participated in an IPO and raised capital for early-stage companies through the utilization of novel financing strategies. He is the President of Life Science Advisors, a consulting firm to a diversity of life science organizations. He currently consults for agriculture companies and a voting member of the Michigan Translational Research and Commercialization (MTRAC) Innovation Hub for AgBio. He was the founding CEO for HealthCure, Vestaron and Emerald BioAgriculture and has over 40 years of experience in agricultural biotechnology and health care. John received his Ph.D. in Plant Pathology and Biochemistry from Purdue University.

John is a Spartan Innovations EIR that leads the Venture Fellows (SIVF) program. This is a program that sets up student teams (each team with 2 Ph.D. and 1 MBA) that try to find solutions for technologies that need to overcome certain market, production or development challenges.
