Keith Evans is a leading technology and business expert in post-silicon semiconductors, especially wide bandgap semiconductors. He began his career as a research scientist at Air Force Research Laboratory where he built a world-class group over 13 years in advancing the crystal growth technology for manufacturing high frequency transistors and high-power laser diodes for defense applications. He went on to hold executive level positions at Semiconductor Laser International, QED/IQE, Veeco, Crystal IS, and most recently Kyma Technologies where he served as their president and CEO for 14 years. His experience base includes corporate financing from startup funding to IPO, strategic partnerships from customer-supplier agreements to joint development agreements all the way to full mergers and acquisitions, and continuous improvement of product line performance to major vertical and horizontal diversification of product lines. Keith received his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Purdue University.
