MSU tech transfer director elected to global board fostering innovation

AUTM, an international nonprofit that supports the commercialization of academic research, has named a new chair with MSU ties to its Board of Directors.

Richard Chylla, who leads the technology transfer office at the MSU Innovation Center, accepted the appointment Feb. 13 at AUTM’s annual conference in Austin, sharing the announcement with nearly 2,000 attendees.

Chylla Selected as AUTM Chair-Elect

The Association of University Technology Managers, (AUTM), an international non-profit whose 3,200 members support academic research globally, shepherding innovations from the lab to the marketplace, selected Richard Chylla, PhD, CLP, RTTP, Executive Director of MSU Technologies to be the AUTM Chair-Elect, beginning his term as Chair in February 2019.
