Joining the MSU Technologies (MSUT) team on February 12, 2024, we introduce Aaron Abood, CPA, as the IP Finance Coordinator. In his role, Aaron is responsible for coordinating, managing, and overseeing the accounting and financial aspects of MSU’s Intellectual Property (IP) policies, specifically related to royalty income and distribution.
Aaron brings nine years of experience in the accounting field to his current position with the MSU Operations Team. Aaron pursued education at Michigan State University, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting in 2014 and 2015. Since becoming a Certified Public Accountant in 2016, Aaron has contributed his financial expertise to the State of Michigan’s Budget Office for almost seven years. Working as both an accountant and accounting manager, he prepared portions of the State’s annual financial report and assisted various State agencies with accounting and financial reporting.
