Spartan Innovations
Spartan Innovations works to drive MSU entrepreneurs to develop their ideas, create business plans and successfully launch highly technical businesses. Spartan Innovations provides many resources to help launch entrepreneurial ventures including commercial/market assessment, commercial development planning, start-up advising, business documentation and support services, mentoring programs, business accelerator programs such as Conquer Accelerator, venture fellows, entrepreneurs-in-residence, internship programs, business plan development, gap funds and grant funding.
Conquer Accelerator
The Conquer Accelerator is a business accelerator program that provides selected teams with ten weeks of intensive programming, focusing on completing tailored, goal-driven benchmarks. Teams work with instructors and mentors on topics like fundraising, technology and longevity. The Conquer Accelerator has programs in East Lansing and Grand Rapids.
Red Cedar Ventures
Red Cedar Ventures helps to accelerate commercialization of startups by creating opportunities for MSU technologies, ecosystem partners and Pure Michigan. Their vision is to be the leading Mid-Michigan Venture Fund providing economic impact for the region and the state with new jobs, new companies and value-added partnerships.
University Corporate Research Park
The University Corporate Engagement Park provides spaces that cultivate and enable startup success, and also accelerates corporate innovation and research partnerships with Michigan State University. UCRP operates and manages several incubator spaces including The Hatch, The TIC and the VanCamp Incubator + Research Lab. The mission of UCRP is to provide mutual benefit to Michigan State University and its corporate partners by providing spaces through the advancement of research, technology, development of new knowledge and commercialization of intellectual property can occur.
