Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation
The Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation empowers students to learn through action by providing programs, courses and resources to foster an entrepreneurial mindset, develop empathy, and create new ventures. Our program is designed to prime students to embrace failure mindfully, explore unknowns and develop skills that matter.

MSU Broad College of Business
The MSU Broad College of Business is the university’s business college with programs in accounting, finance, general management, human resource management, marketing, supply chain management and hospitality business. Their mission is to create and disseminate knowledge through collaborative relationships while developing transformational leaders who make business happen.

MSU Hatch
The Hatch is designed as a co-working, incubator space for Michigan State University college students, provided by MSU, LEAP, the City of East Lansing and Spartan Innovations. The mission of the Hatch Program is to generate and advance the culture of entrepreneurship in the community and to expand the knowledge-based economy in the market, focusing on student entrepreneurs.

Michigan State University Black Chamber of Commerce
MSUBCC cultivates the entrepreneurial spirit of MSU undergraduate students by sharing professional networks, resources and experience. The purpose of this organization is to create a community of like-mined, ambitious and diverse young professionals in order to establish a sustainable infrastructure that connects, develops and empowers them to become successful entrepreneurs.

Students Consulting for Nonprofit Organizations
SCNO is an MSU student organization that offers students from all colleges the opportunity to apply their academic and personal experiences to better the community through pro-bono consulting engagements. Since its inception in 2003, SCNO has consulted over 150 non-profits on a variety of topics, including marketing, fundraising and capital allocation, information technology, organization strategy and operational management.
